A Castle Photo Essay

On the following pages we present a series of photographs by archaeologist Daniel Mersey of Cambridgeshire, a contributor to the Castles of Wales web site. Dryslwyn Castle, 1997: Like many other Welsh castles, Dryslwyn's courtyard was cut into the bedrock at various heights (left), and looking towards the wall that was undermined during the English siege (right).
